Anyway, is anybody here going to be playing at Whobby 3? I have some specific questions concerning Fox that I'd really like to see tested.
In Melee, there was a very uncommonly used technique that Fox could use where you ran to wards the opponent and then jumped while simultaneously doing the Firefox attack (up B.)
Due to the momentum, Fox would glide across the ground at head height for a fair horizontal distance, the charging part of his Firefox attack burning and comboing anyone who was hit by it. It was possible to rack up about 22% with this attack and it could be used from a dash dance.
I'm really curious to see if this technique still works in Brawl, seeing as Fox's reflector combos won't be so viable any more. This may very well get more play if it does work.
Not only that, but I'd like to know whether the firefox's "burning" frames start sooner or later than they did in melee.
If anyone plans to play as Fox if they're going to Whobby 3, then it'd be greatly appreciated.
