ZeldaMaster
Smash Lord
So, I pre-order the Smash Bundle from Best-Buy, got to pick it up yesterday, and what do you know, they don't have it! Firstly, they never even notified me that the game was available for pick-up on launch like Gamestop usually does. Secondly, the reason they said it isn't available is because Nintendo didn't send enough copies to them, and that more copies would be shipped by next week. To make things worse, the lady at customer service said that I should call everyday of next week to see if they got copies, and tell whoever was on the phone to hold a copy for me when they received a shipment. I don't see why I, the customer, am responsible for this. I put time and money into pre-ordering that bundle, and now I leave with nothing, being told that I'm responsible to check every day of next week to see if they have it stock? NO. IT'S ****ING BEST BUY'S responsibility to notify ME and of my pre-order AND NOT VICE-VERSA. I e-mailed the manager yesterday, and she hasn't replied yet. Is anybody in the same boat? If so, how did you work throught this situation? Did you ask for a compensation? Did Best Buy end up doing anything for you?
To sum up:
-I didn't get the bundle
-Best Buy never sent me any notification via phone or e-mail about the status of my pre-order on launch
-I wasted 40 mins to get to the store
-I was told that I am responsible for telling them to hold a copy whenever it ships next week, meaning that I have tocheck with them everyday of the day next week.
-I still haven't heard from the manager.
