Anybody getting Splatoon?

I was at Target bright and early yesterday morning in hopes of getting Jigglypuff and Lucina Amiibos. I was successful, but only because majority of people there wanted a copy of Splatoon along with the Splatoon Amiibos. They had a limit of two Amiibos per person so of course the scalpers weren't very happy, and decisions had to be made. The hype for Splatoon was crazy though, and from what I saw it looks pretty fun. Still I think I will wait and play the copy my friend recently bought to give it a try before dropping the $60+ on it...

I was also able to snag 2 Ness Amiibos (I was one of the lucky ones to reserve it during that 15 minute window they were open to be ordered, and they had an extra arrive that day) and a Silver Mario one at the local Gamestop.

Now, the only ones I still want to snag are Robin and Lucina to complete my Fire emblem set. My Marth and Ike feel incomplete without the new ones!

No Ness in my area, unfortunately. But it was pretty hillarious how grown men aged 30-50 were trying to speak all cryptically to one another while we waited in line. One was all "they have that thing I was telling you about at the place..." My friend and I were like 4th in line and the group of men were further back but within earshot. My friend yells "you mean Ness!?" Mainly to be obnoxious, and of course they were pissed. Sheesh, I admit I want certain Amiibos just like everyone else, but hell I actually use them. These guys buy them all up, sell them for profit, or use them as trade bait.

I love screwing around with scalpers. Most tend to be scumbags and deserve any trolling that comes to them. I love telling them I have a few (insert thing they want) with an innocent smile, and lead them on to the point where they think they can buy them from me for cheap by not realizing the prices. Then completely stop on their desires.

I hope you laughed in their faces after they got all mad.

There are some small issues, but I'm enjoying it quite a bit.

Maybe one day. I find it somewhat interesting and might get it in the future but it's not a huge priority for me at the moment.

UPDATE:
Spent the day at my pals apartment, played Splatoon and lets just say I loved it.

Also thought you would like to hear this tidbit of information.

When recalling the day prior where we waited in line to get our Amiios he tells me that after we went our separate ways he was approached. A previous coworker of ours, well know for scalping stopped him and said "I'll give you $30 for that Lucina"

My buddy just took her out of the bag and said "what? This one?" And tore open the box while staring him directly in the eyes.

The scalpers response was "you're a f*#^ing A%>€hole."

I would have loved to have been there XD
