Any word on stat changes with size?

I've been trying to find as much information as I can about exactly how much the Mii's stats will change based on their size but it seems everyone is using the default Mii instead of making their own. I understand because the game's not out anywhere but Japan currently you can't give specific numbers, but can anyone confirm if the change is noticeable, or if making the tiniest Mii possible won't really differ from making a giant Mii? And is the Mii's weight factored in or just height?

I've been wondering this too. I already made 3 mii's to test this when it cones out.
I made one tall one named Kagura, who will be a sword fighter.
a medium one named Rin. A brawler.
And a smaller one named Zeal. Gunner.
All of which have the same weight pretty much.

I'm also wondering if the three Miis have distinct differences in stats (i.e. brawlers are naturally faster, swordfighters are tanky, gunners hit harder) but for now I'm curious how much that size difference thing actually matters. I'm thinking if it does matter you can make some really durable characters, what with those OP equips I saw in another thread.

I heard at least one post report that the change in damage from one size to another is as negligible as 19%-23% for an FSmash, and the difference in height is as negligible as Pit's chest to Pit's face, but I can't remember what thread that post was in.

I know there's a stat change with size, I'm asking how much.

Thankfully someone was able to answer in another thread:

Some interesting tidbits about Miis that could change some of your perceptions-

1. You can use Miis with Customizations off.
2. When you do so, they maintain their custom movesets but not stat changes.
3. The height difference is quite negligible. I made a tall Mii and he only reaches up to the center of Dark Pit's head. A rather short Mii reached up to his neck.
4. The strength difference is small too. My tall Mii did 21% with a smash attack. My small one did 19%.

I've been testing this in training mode just now. With some slight stat changes based on height and no stat changing equipment, the only real variable is the moveset... or basically just four moves. That could make the Miis much more realistic.
So it seems the difference in size won't matter too much, which is good if you're making tall/short miis for aesthetics.

I do want to test this out more in depth though...

For the most standard possible outcome, I made Airy the smallest possible Mii you could get and Hagrid the largest possible. They're both up against Mario in Training Mode as Brawlers on the Spirit Tracks Final Destination.

F-Smash
Airy: 24%
Hagrid: 26%

D-Smash
Airy: 17%
Hagrid: 18%

U-Smash
Airy: 19%
Hagrid: 20%

Knockback on fully charged F-Smash
Airy: KO's 44% Mario (!!!!!!!!!)
Hagrid: KO's 43% Mario (!!!)

Time from one end of the stage to the other
Airy: 1 second, 429 milliseconds
Hagrid: 2 seconds, 114 milliseconds

Height
Airy: Barely reaches Mario's hat. She fits comfortably under the brim of it.
Hagrid: Barely reaching over the top of Mario's hat. Barely.

Other Notes:
-The small ones seem much faster, but they slide like Luigi. This makes it harder to land more direct hits.
-If the large ones are too close to the opponent, the F-Smash completely whiffs.

I'll test their defense in a little bit, but I'm hungry and need to go eat.

Thanks for the research! :D Any word on their weights affecting anything, or is it only height?

I honestly don't understand why they decided to make shorter Miis faster.

Logic tells me it should be the opposite.

Kinda wish there wasn't even a difference in the first place, kinda impossible to make Miis accurate to what you want in both appearance and functionality unless you tweak them a lot with equipment, which only ends up making them way too different with customizations on or off.

EDIT:
Also, anyone knows if weight makes any difference?

I think that for the purposes of simplicity, if Mii's do wind up tourney legal(and i hope they do) everyone should be using the same mii, namely just the default(create a new one and just name it and hit ok). This way tourney organizers can have a quick standard loaded across the systems if there's multiples, and everyone is practicing vs the same situation.

Yeah, weight makes a difference. Weight controls Attack power while Height controls Speed. I made a fat small swordfighter (Fatesty) and a thin small swordfighter (Testy). Just in the image, Fatesty has a longer sword and hits harder than Testy (2%). However, she keeps Testy's speed.

I'm thinking of making a video or article about it.

So that's just it? If you make your Mii small and fat, it'll be both fast and strong with no drawbacks whatsoever, but big and thin and it'll be terrible in every way?

There better be something else to it, because that sounds awful.

Pretty sure the difference in speed and attack is negligible.
Plus, the faster ones slide around like Luigi a lot, so there's that "traction" issue to factor in.

The speed difference isn't negligible. Try it. Shortest/thinnest and Tallest/Fattest.

Apparently, a tall/thin Mii will still jump high, just won't move around as fast.

Still not sure what advantage does a big Mii have. Weight/Defense would make sense I guess.

It feels that way. I went into the lab and test out how they were launched. I used Mario as my constant variable and attack with Uncharged Fsmash, Dsmash, Usmash on each candidate. I wanted to see at what percentage did they KO. (Disclaimer: Data not set to stone and human error may occurred during the experiment. Please bare with me.)

Testy (Small, Lightweight, Swordfighter)
Fsmash - 107%
Usmash - 124%
Dsmash - 160%

Test 2 (Tall, Lightweight, Swordfighter)
Fsmash - 107%
Usmash - 124%
Dsmash - 158%*

Fearitself - Personal Mii (Tall, Medium weight, Swordfighter)
Fsmash - 108%
Usmash - 126%
Dsmash - 161%

Fatesty (Small, Heavyweight, Swordfighter)
Fsmash - 109%
Usmash - 128%
Dsmash - 162%

TooFat (Tall, Heavyweight, Swordfighter)
Fsmash - 110%
Usmash - 130%
Dsmash - 161%

I doubt the class has any effect on the KO percentage but I put there just in case. Now about the * . Dsmash is sort of weird. Normally, I know I KO a Mii when the Red Eyes-Black Lightning Appears but Dsmash cause enough force that the Miis just die without the KO effect. Anyways, that is my results.

If you still feel that my experiment isn't incorrect, free to perform the test yourself. I used Mario on Battlefield Omega Mode. The Mii were in the middle of the stage when attack. I sweetspot with Fsmash and hit the first part of Dsmash. Perform the Trial at least 5 times before recording the result for precision purpose. I hope that helps. Thank you.

Tall Miis have more range on their A attacks, but more ending lag. Short Mii Brawlers can actually combo 3 utilts into each other while Tall ones can't combo any.

Thin Miis seem to be floatier, but it's kind of hard to test fall speed.
