I need help on wave dashing I can moonwalk, but I have a tourney soon, please help.

You have to do it faster than most everyone elses.. its kind of difficult to time with fox at first, but just think FASTER. Thats what helped me and now i can WD w/ fox easily

Ok, so diagonal?

Jump, then airdodge diagonally downwards. It's common sense. It's like propelling yourself diagonally into the ground, so that when you land, you slide.

I have done that it just does not do it right.

how does it not do it right?

case 1: you leave the ground and get an air dodge
Solution: Press R/L much closer to your press of X/Y.

Case 2: you only get a jump
Solution: Press R/L farther from your press of X/Y.

ok heres what you do. hold directly down on your control stick and then either press X or Y whatever you prefer and then R or L do it faster or slower until you get it right which will look like fox just crouching and then smoke comes out. once you get the timing then just point your control stick down and right or down and left and then your wavedashing.

Ok, I can do it 2/3 of the way, but with Luigi i can do it all the way across

Look, if it isn't "working" right then you aren't doing it right. You're probably pushing the buttons too late; it has to be an immediate transition to the airdodge from the jump, any time in between and you'll either have a choppy, small wavedash, or no wavedash at all. Just work on getting the timing right. We can't give you advice for instant wavedashing perfection; it takes practice.

Fox is not awesome, he's terrible. Mid teir at best. Every character has ways to hose him easily. Easy to gimp. Easy to combo. dies quickly. Fox is totally overrated. Just because he can infinte everyone in the cast doesn't mean he's good. In fact, i'm convinced he's freakin horrible. You should main luigi. Look at Ka-Master. He did hella well at FC. Luigi's top tier. (at least High tier). Captain Falcon on the other hand is clearly top tier (Darkrain beat Ka master proving it).
