Any tips on Vudu dashing?

kinda started doing them by wavelands on platforms but never wavedashes, i only wavedash on a platform when I'm near the edge of it, any advice on getting them down better? or just practice?

practice perfect wavelands. The vudu-dash is only as fast as the wL/wd that precedes it. Then it's timing the fireball correctly (the instant you leave the platform). Just practice.

I just spent an hour practising it, and i'm starting to get it consistently .

I went to Yoshi Story and started doing "this"

and kept doing it (on both side, doing backward and forward wavelands, trying to vary the jumping and/or landing point on the platform etc)

Don't know if it is the best method ever but I find it okay : o)

thanks hopefully this helps more than just low jumping on top of the platform and wave landing manually (:
