Any Smash 64 Players In the Canada Niagara Region?

Hey, our scene(which is ran by Niko_K and Bing) mostly consists of Melee players and was wondering if anyone in this area plays Smash 64 at a competitive scale. I'm asking due to people not going to the Regional boards . Only 2 people there play the game some what at a competitive level at the store.

There aren't any particular regional threads here except for Europe, but maybe that can be fixed. I think it would be good to have an EC thread, a MW thread, and a WC thread. Thoughts, anyone?

I don't think we need actual forums for the sections. A thread for each of the major ones should be sufficient.

There's already regional forums, but maybe 64 is small enough that it warrants regional zones within the 64 forum. I've only seen like 2 or 3 Smash 64 related threads in the Pacific West forum for example.

I wanted to come here directly to lets people know that there is people in Niagara that plays Smash 64 still and at a high level. I'm trying to get Niko or Bing to host either a Smash 64 or Brawl tournament some time in the future.

It'd be great if you guys could get a tournament going. Niagara is in between three different smash scenes: Toronto, Tristate, and to a lesser extent Chicago.

Galaxy is considered the Smash server.

I use to play many year ago on pj64k. The time when YoshiKing was still around, Ring a bell? haha, don't even know if he does any smash anymore. However the keyboard doesn't cut it and decided to play people in person with a N64. Planning on coming back in the online scene once I find a good plug and play device.

If you're looking for a cheap solution, I recommend the Mayflash adapter. I think it was around $15 including shipping.

I got a really bad plug and play back in the day and only the PS1 side worked. The N64 side would not recognize the controller input. Hopefully this will work. Thank you.

I would attend tournaments. But they are never listed anywhere. Nor can I find them. I heard they are monthly. I still haven't found out if this is true or not. SuperBoom makes it out almost every time too.

Boom isn't coming, but big names like Nintendude and YBOMBB went last year. They placed in the top 10 @ Apex.

I Know Nintendude. He's a good team partner. I'm a old school player and never heard of YBOMBB and I thought Mango only played Melee. Thanks for the thread. I'l try to make it out. Getting fed up with Melee and Brawl for awhile and going back to good old N64 :3.

I do not have facebook and will not be joining facebook again. I had it for 2 months long ago, then deleted it. Personal reasons.

I search threads here to find out dates about meet ups and Tournaments. Sorry Nintendude.
