Any locals near Hammond, Indiana?

I've been trying to find locals near Hammond, Indiana and its really difficult. I've practiced Melee for roughly 6 months and I have improved but i'm not sure how much and I have nobody to play other than the bots and it's hard to tell if you're getting good or not without a human being to play so i'd like to attend tournaments but problem is, it is impossible for me to find them on my own without other peoples' help. I only know one that I went to once in Highland but it was disappointing (not because I got 2-0'd by everyone) but it had only 3-4 people there plus me and it lasted for an hour and I didn't get to play that many people. So if anybody knows any tournaments near Hammond, Indiana feel free to let me know and thanks.
