any good n64 stick replacements on the market?

been out of the game for a while...are there any good replacement sticks on the market yet?

I have one controller with a repairbox stick and that thing is passable. doesn't hold a candle to my OEM fire orange stick. that thing is like butter and very tight even after 4 years usage (ceramic grease baby :D)

the gamecube sticks are a complete flop not sure how they're still being sold... are there any other companies making sticks? or the same two options of repairbox and gcn style?

p.s. I have a hori mini, just interested in stick replacements because I might be able to get some more new OEM sticks out of lodgenet controllers (they sold really fast on here before).

We're close to having passable replacements, but not quite there yet.

First, there's Enkko, who is making plastic replacement sticks and bowls. He had a kickstarter and will be releasing them to those who funded first, but I believe he's not too far from an actual release.

Secondly, there's @SteelSticks64 who is making steel versions of the sticks and bowls, as these should last a lot longer than plastic parts. A release for these are not yet announced and there is a pretty long waiting list currently.

I'd say we are a year or two away from them being easily accessible.

There is a guy who made a replacement pcb and programming for the GameCube style sticks, ive got some of those, and they pretty much fix all the existing issues with the stock gc style joysticks.

He isn't making any more of them though, but he has released all the relevant files needed for someone to make them on their own, so maybe a bigger company or other modders will pick them up and make some.
