Any else think it's kinda obvious that the Wii You will get more than one exclusive mode?

I see people on Youtube , Reddit , Gamefaqs and rarely even here saying 'WHY ISN'T THE WII U GETTING A EXCLUSIVE MODE SAMURAI LIKES 3DS MORE' or 'THE WII U IS ONLY GETTING ONE EXCLUSIVE MODE? LAZY STUPID SAMURAI' I mean how can people be so stupid? And I mean that in the nicest way possible. The Wii U has so much more power than the 3DS so it is GUARANTEED to have more than one exclusive mode. Whether it is new modes or old modes, like Adventure mode coming to the Wii U, it is happening guys (and gals)

Thanks for reading. So much better than gamefaqs ;-)

I agree, I think it's already pretty obvious we'll be getting an adventure mode in the wii u version as well as the seemingly missing from the 3ds version target smash (hopefully it'll be more like melees like everyone is asking for) and i can see us possibly getting one more brand new mode similar to smash run.

The people freaking out seem to be the same people who think ness might not get in just because hes not revealed yet, I personally think it's pretty obvious they want to hype up the 3ds version for now so they'll holding back most of the wii u stuff to after the 3ds version drops.

I mean, we have no way of knowing until Sakurai reveals something or the game is released. Perhaps he thinks Smash Run is a fair exclusive to make up for the shortened soundtrack and inferior graphics. We don't know.

It's very likely more content and game modes will be revealed after the launch of the 3DS. There would be very little sense in announcing all of the wonderful offerings of the Wii U version when selling the 3DS version is of a higher priority right now.

I dont see why you are expecting more than one mode. It has nothing to do with capabilities and all to do with how much they want to do. Plus I think many people would rather they work on balance rather than add new modes.

Sakurai said you can customize characters with equipment from game modes. Since you can use this equipment in the Wii U version, we're obviously getting an exclusive mode. The question is when he'll reveal it to us.

Am I the only one who wanted a SSE2? Or something like it? The cinematics were pretty awesome, and I liked playing through it (except the great maze!)

I think Sakurai is holding back until after the 3DS version is released, then he will show how awesome the Wii U version will be.

Same here. I wanted more cinematics, inspired level design and enemies from the characters' games, all that good stuff.

1 player only Smash Run with online option. Different map, big as nuts. Even more enemies and stuff.
Or I dunno, some Adventure mode or some shizzle. There is no need to force the gamepad usage, but anything interesting is welcome.

The U will almost certainly have an exclusive mode. Possibly Event Mode (unless that's what Challenges are if Challenges aren't the checklist), probably Stage Builder, who knows what else.

"Wii You"

:dizzy:

Anyways, I was thinking this too. The fact that we aren't learning much about the Wii U version implies that they're hiding something big.

Wii U version will have so many features that you'll unlock everything and you still haven't seen EVERYTHING.

Plus considering that the disc space is much, much larger than Brawl's and SSE isn't there to take up so much space and time

You might be right about event mode but I hope there is one on both. Currently the 3DS version seems like it doesn't have that much content to explore the characters with, and since it's online probably won't be that great, I think it needs some strong single player content. Sure there is smash run, but that will only keep me busy for so long before it gets old. But if they have 50 event matches or more on the 3DS game I will be quite pleased.

Oh yeah, the Wii U will most definitely have exclusive modeS. I bet Sakurai is still going to do PotDs even after 3DS is out, the first two weeks the pics still being 3DS but then they will be mostly about the Wii U version. He has to hype up the 3DS one, AND the Wii U one, but this is kinda hard since they have separate release dates, so I think he's going to hype up the Wii U version while the 3DS version is out.

Even if it didn't have exclusive modes I'd still get it over the 3ds version because it looks stunning :p, but year I think it's pretty obvious it will have and exclusive mode or two.
