Any Else Miss Snag the Trophies

Maybe it means I should buy another copy of melee (my old copy is too scratched up), but I rather liked Snag the Trophies and would kind of like it to return. It's not a huge deal and I doubt it will return, however I liked it.

I certainly liked it a ton more than that weird mini-game where you shot coins at stickers and trophies. Anyway would any else like to see this return or emphatically not want it to return? And yes I know if we got any of the cool bonus levels back that weren't in brawl it should be race to the finish.

The former, though there is something nostalgic about the slot machine as well. I know the fact that it is the former makes my comparison a bit more confusing, but meh, oh well.

Don't miss it one bit. It was too short and the trophy gain just wasn't enough compared to the slot machine.
At least in the Brawl coin shooter ya know what trophies you're getting and don't waste coins on ones ya already have, the downside being that ya have to wait for them to appear or force them to appear by shooting a bunch of coins at enemies.

Honestly I just want a frickin item shop for collectables like this.

Guess I'm just a nostalgic old fool. It lacked something in the creativity department, but for some reason I liked it. Also you could keep a trophy in the air and keep the bonus level going because... boredom I guess?

getting trophies in melee was just way better

I hated having 9999 coins in brawl, but still having to spend hours with that stupid coin shooting game just to get them

just let me but 100 coins into the trophy machine please, I earned my coins by playing this damn game all day

Honestly this, the idea of an items shops of some sort fro trophies would be worth looking at too.

Couldn't have summarized it better myself. Getting trophies in Melee was just more exciting. Crazy though it may sound, there being fewer of them I think contributed to that... also I liked being able to look at them all on a table.

Snag the trophies was literally just the chance to get 5 trophies (?), most of them were repeated you played the game for a while anyways, why do you miss it? It wasn't that good... The lottery on the other hand was way better than Brawl's coin minigame

Play coins? Sorry I'm not very familiar with the 3ds.
the 3ds has a pedometer, you get 1 playcoin for every 100 steps you take and it's like the virtual currency of the 3ds software.

It's part of the system, and it's been implemented in several games (including kid icarus uprising, which sakurai was obviously responsible for)

I think it was only 3, and yes I know that doesn't help my case any. I don't know it was just good natured fun and seemed to fit well into Melee's trophy emphasis.
