Another way to gimp snake...?

Alrighty, so this might be known for all I know as I was computerless for 2 weeks a while back. But if you egg lay snake while he's cyphering and the cypher hits you this will keep snake from taking any damage and he'll fall to his death, of course you need a proper positioning. Wasn't sure if this was worth a new thread (probably not), but I just thought I'd throw it out there.

I'm confused about the positioning... do you have to be right up in his face when you egg lay him? I don't see how you can get him and still get hit by the cypher...

It's much like using Wario's bite against Snake's cypher, but it's probably easier to do with Wario because his bite has such a close range and a bigger hitbox. I'm guessing you're going to need some forward momentum when you grab Snake, and run into the cypher as it flies up.

Honestly, I think it would be just better to grab him if he's near the ledge

But a smart snake wouldnt be in a position to be grabbed unless u spiked them or they arent aware of yoshis grab range. This is a good find because it can be used offstage, no matter how far away he is. Ill hafta experiment w/ this.

Yeah, I'm still not entirely sure if the snake was unable to cypher again or if they were just shocked they weren't in an egg so they didn't react. But incase it was the first one I figured I might post it...
