Animal Crossing Character Idea

Now with the update of an animal crossing stage (I know this is old, but hell...) many people have made the assumption that there will be an AC character. IMO this will happen, I mean, there has never been an icon with no charcter to go with it. (except the smash bros. icon, but thats the games name...)

So the real question is, "Who will be the AC rep?". When the stage was shown, it was shown with Tom Nook and K. K. Slider. This caused alot of controversy, because some people believ that being in the background doesnt mean you cant be in the game as a PC. If they cant be, well then that takes the possible characters to choose from down by 50%.

Now recently, Mr. Resetti was shown as an AT. This yet again reduces the characters to choose from again. So there is one more probable character. Actually characterS, because there are many different animal crossers.

Now here is my idea. In the old smash bros. you could only get the pikmin trophy if you had a pikmin save file on your memory card. And the GCN controllers have been confirmed as usable controllers. So what if they made it so that you could use any animal crossers from your GCN animal crossing game? Now Iknow some of you will say that the graphics would look poor in comparison, but the wii could read the character off the memory card and updating the graphics so that they are 'wiistyle'. Now these four charaters (you can have only 4 chars per memory card) could be used as alt. costumes for the animal crosser. They would retain their costume and faces and any other features for their original game.

But what if you dont have animal crossing data? Then SSBB will give you generic crossers to choose from as costumes. I think this would be a great feature for the game and please tell me if you feel the same or otherwise (please state reasons).

Some characters could be removed from the background once they're unlocked. Like, maybe you could unlock KK Slider by watching him play in Smashville a few times. Or unlock Nook somehow.

Other than that, the only option for an AC character is Animal Crossing Human. Actually, it's the only real option for a starter AC character, seeing as you'd only be able to remove someone from the background by unlocking them.

Usually charcters can me unlocked froma smash bros. game in amtter of days. So even having the character in the BKG would be pointless

I'm really not seeing an Animal Crossing fighter as of right now, but if the human characters are playable, then I think you do have a good idea.

In Diddy Kong Racing, after you unlock T.T. he's still standing in the lobby in Adventure Mode. Also, in UMK3 if you pick Cyrax and play on the dessert stage you can see Cyrax in the background. When are people going to realise that video games don't have to make sense?

That actually sounds awesome. They should do that. But what if someone didnt have AC?

maybe you could just design him on the regular memory card , it would be hard to program dont you think ? but the only two i could see getting in are tom nook or the animal crosser.
