Okay, Brawl was bad enough with 5 clones: Toon Link, Falco, Ganondorf, Lucas, and Wolf. Melee had 6: Falco, Dr. Mario, Ganondorf, Pichu, Young Link, and Roy. Now, Smash U/3DS has a grand total of 6: Toon Link, Ganondorf, Doctor Mario, Lucina, Dark Pit, Falco. 7, if you count Lucario, who was cloned from Mewtwo. 8, if you consider Luigi a clone of Mario. Lucina, Doc, and Dark Pit are possibly the least imaginative. Ganondorf at least got a different side special, Toon link has slight differences in his moves, Falco's reflector was changed. Nintendo needs to have a little more originality in their characters.

... A number of those are far from clones.

That aside, this tangent certainly does not merit a thread. You are welcome to restate your feelings in the Official Character Thread.
