The users here, the users on other boards and many other people invested incredibly much time in the characterguides OF SSBM and in their updates. And what happens when Brawl comes out?! Do we can use this old guides or Brawl too, or do we must write them again for Brawl, or do we only must change a few points of the guides?

The two games will be totally different. I doubt tweaking an old guide will do much good. It is much more likely that you'll see brand new guides come out. The old ones will stick around (no pun intended) as long as there is Melee interest.

I myself have my sights set on Link. I hope to make a guide on him for Brawl.

We don't have any details on the controls of SSBB yet. However, even if SSBB uses the Gamecube controller with the same buttons, the physics will be different enough to where 95% of guides' text wouldn't apply anymore. Moves will do different damage/knockback, have different cooldown rates, etc.

does that mean, that you will play for example falco on an other way?
Sure. If SSBB has Falco in it, odds are that he'll be somewhat different than his current rendition. While some of his moves may look the same, they will have different effects on different characters than they did in Melee.

Why do you feel sorry for people who have written guides for Melee? Their work isn't useless; just because they aren't going to be used forever doesn't mean they weren't extremely useful to hundreds of people for several years.
