Hey, Smashboards. Heard lots about you from /r/smashbros. I go by /u/mtagmann there and on the Nintendo Network. Figured that if I wanted to start getting involved in the Smash Scene, I should probably make an account here. The first Smash game I played was 64, waaaayyyy back when. Probably like 98 or 99. First smash I owned was Melee. Bought a Wii for Brawl, and a WiiU for Sm4sh.
My particular favorite of the bunch would probably be Project M (#roy4lyfe), though, truth be told, I'm absolute garbage at it, so, hey, there's that.
Lots of good memories with Smash in the past -- my dorm floor used to have constant Smash games going somewhere on the floor. Only one of us was close to competitive, and he didn't fare too well at the tourney he went to at OSU. So, we weren't super good, but it was lots of fun to play with all those guys.
Looking forward to Smash 4, and hoping to join up with the competitive scene that (hopefully!) comes up around it.
If any of you are located around the South Side of Chicago and are potentially interested in getting a Smash 4 scene started up when the WiiU version comes out, hit me up.
Anyway, that's my intro. Looking forward to smashtalkin' with all of you.
