It certainly would be interesting. Would explain the lack of Master Hand on the Dojo (if final bosses are made playable).

Though one thing (that can go for making this more or less likely equally), is that Ancient Minister is more than meets the eye, or rather, is extremely likely to be so. Every final boss (in almost every video game) appears in one way, then are completely different for the final battle. Master Hand was in the intro to SSB and didn't seem evil at all, then gained his Crazy Hand counterpart in Melee out of nowhere. Bowser also transformed into Giga Bowser for a new boss fight in Melee. Ancient Minister will probably have some different form up his sleeve (or current lack thereof) or not be the real leader of the Subspace Army.

No. It's not what smash is about. It's about taking nintendo franchises and in some cases 3rd party frachises and creating a fighting game. It's not make up a character for the gam. Thta's my opinion anyways.

Says the one with Vivi in his avatar. (AM looks sorta like vivi.)

Smash Bros. is a popular Nintendo series, so it deserves representation in Brawl by means of a playable character. It's a bit paradoxical, but it does make sense if you think about it.
That being said, the Ancient Minister doesn't have hands (that we know of), and an all-projectile or psychokinetic moveset is beyond broken. If there is an original Smash character in Brawl, it'll be something like Andabond from thealmightygoat's fake roster - a heroic character heavily involved in Subspace Emissary. Either that, or a generic Alloy fighter.

I wouldn't mind the AM...who knows? If he's Sakurai's creation and this is infact his last Smash, he could add whoever he likes! I def. wouldn't mind, as long as the AM doesn't turn out like Zant did at the end of Twilight Princess...all cool the entire game, then a big wacky *** at the end. :p
