An idea for Adventure Mode

I know many people have talked about Adventure Mode in Sm4sh, but I would like to share my thought. What if the Adventure Modes between Wii U aand 3DS were different. By that, I mean that we could give the Wii U a more cinematic Adventure Mode with an in depth story filled with glorious HD cutscenes (although this has to be much different from the Subspace Emissary), and the 3DS gets a more Melee style Adventure Mode, with its own share of cutscenes at some points. I just thought of this idea, what do you guys think of it?

If there had to be any version differences other than battle stages and customization, I'd be cool with this.

I'd like for the Wii U's version to give a seperate story and stages for every character. (they could intersect with each other at times as well)

The 3DS version could stay simple, with a couple of stages themed around certain characters and franchises, staying the same for all characters and not much of a plot. (if any)

As long as they are both the same (not story wise) I am okay. I wouldn't want something where one has a deep storyline and one is just a playthrough. Especially since they are both going to reward you in some way, and I don't want to work hard for the Wii U version and then get everything on the 3DS version in like 1 hour. But, hey, that's just my opinion.

I always thought that everyone wins on both versions, because having a more detailed and longer story on the Wii U would have its perks, so long as it is interesting and not repetitive like the SE, and that would be a reward in itself. Although, I see your point, and maybe what could work is that if the 3DS has a Melee style Adventure Mode, you could be given a reward for the first time through, and then could get more rewards if you complete the adventure mode with a different criteria (i.e. get a reward for the first time through, get a reward for finishing in hard mode with no continues, etc.), whereas in the Wii U version, you'd be rewarded at multiple points in the story, to make everything fair. I'd like to see some contrast between Adventure modes in the Wii U and 3DS versions, as I'm one of those people who are planning to get both.

I see your point, but the reason I would like to see a similar type of story mode, but with different stories. Another two reasons are 1: It would be AMAZING to see two different stories, but with the same characters, like in the Wii U, Pit saves kirby from some disaster, but in the 3DS, Pit saves Link from some disaster. It isn't a good example of what I mean, but I just love Pit too much. anyhow, the second reason is that some people are getting only one game, but Wii U has this, and 3DS has that, so it can make it hard for them to choose. I am one of the people who are getting only one game, so the second reason affects me most. Sorry if I repeated anything you or I said, as I am busy focusing on something else right now, so I am not fully thinking of what I am typing.

I'd like to see any adventure mode like Melee's but with alternate paths leading to different worlds and stages. That way it was still be short and sweet while adding re playability for those who want to play it with different characters.

To be honest I would really be sad if the 3DS version was only like Melee Adventure Mode and WiiU was more storybased like the Adventure Mode from Brawl. I mean Melee mode was a like the one on SSB64, you aren't really motivated to do it over and over again. Alternate routes would be a nice addition to melee adventure mode, but I'm not that happy with this neither. It would be like Starfox 64. Some stages would be visited over and over again. Of course you would have a motivation to do it over and over again to find new secrets, but all in all, I would really appreciate cutscenes even on the 3DS. The idea of two different storybased Adventure Modes would be the perfect solution for both, the ones who will just buy one version and the ones who would get both versions.

I'm crossing fingers for two whole different and still great adventure modes with cutscenes. I also hope that it won't be too much traveling around and fighting the easy Smash Bros enemies, because it was one of the only things I didn't like that much.
