Whats a good free multiplayer, MOBA, MMO, etc. that's good to play after you've gotten fed up with LoL? I've been delving into a good bit of Skyrim, but I want a game I can play with my friends across the country. I heard there was a title called Blade N' Soul(?) or maybe I could cough up some money to play FF14? What do you guys like?

First thing you gotta know is that MMO =/= MOBA. They're two very, very different beasts.

On that note, good luck finding a good free MMO. It's a genre that just cannot live on F2P. But for MOBAs, I'd suggest Heroes of the Storm. I don't normally care for the genre, but HOTS is a lot of fun thanks to its wide verity of maps and much more casual atmosphere. Community is still toxic because MOBAs, but if you have a group of friends it can be fun.

oh yeah, I know they are different. I was just asking for examples for games to play in each respective genre of game. Multiplayer preferably. And I played HOTS. Its not too bad, but It was a very long time ago.

I'd recommend DotA 2 if you're still looking for a MOBA, but can't imagine you haven't already thought of that already seeing that you've played League. Haven't played it myself, but I hear SMITE is fun too, plus being 3rd person instead of top-down puts a huge spin on the MOBA formula.

Guild Wars 2's base game went F2P a few months ago (expansion still costs money).

Maybe you should address why you got fed up by League and use that as a list of focus factors to decide which game you should look at pouring interest into next.
