A recent interview with an Animal Crossing developer suggests that yes, indeed, AC will get a fighter to call Smashville his home – using the axe, fishing rod, and other environment-interacting items from the game as the basis of his moveset. But would it really be the generic human character, the "Animal Crosser"? Or would it be a more recognized icon like Nook?
