Amnesia: The Dark Descent

I just read an article for this game on IGN, it looks pretty interesting. In the game, you wake up as this guy with no memory of anything in some creepy castle. You find a note written by yourself explaining that you drank something to inflict amnesia upon yourself. The note gives you one clear objective: locate and kill Alexander of Brennenburg. While exploring the castle, you'll find a verity of puzzles to solve, rooms to explore, and wretched monstrosities right out of the mind of HP Lovecraft.

In other words, it sounds like the unholy offspring of Eternal Darkness, Castlevania and Myst. Sounds interesting....

Spiritual sequel to Penumbra too.

With mention of "Lovecraftian Horrors," it should just add "CK already pre-ordered this. Which I did, I think twice (Linux and Mac).
