Amiibo Tournaments?

I was wondering if there has been any talk of creating amiibo tourneys? What that would look like or how to regulate it but as a side tourney to a event. A 1 set match 5 min 2 stock match. Something that would go quick but engage the larger number of people like not in top 4 or in between matches thing.

There are actually several amiibo tournaments. While mostly being in big cities, or otherwise made by a lone individual as opposed to a big organization, they are still around. And although I wouldn't know much about the rules, Id say that it just functions like a regular bracket tournament? Actually, there is a place where you can watch an live amiibo fighting tournament, I just cant post links now because im still a noob. Check out AmiiboFighter on twitch, you can like, gamble with fake money n stuff!
