Amiibo Early Release

Yesterday, I went to my local Meijer( Midwesten store similar to Target or Walmart) looking for rare Amiibos, and found something unexpected. Instead of the Villager I have been so desperately searching for, I came across Little Mac, Diddy, and Zelda (I bought Little Mac).I thought this was just a random thing, but then I went to a totally different Meijer today and found the same thing.

Has anyone else seen some of Wave 2? The release date isn't till Sunday, so I thought it was odd that two different locations would each break the date.

I also hope this doesn't mean that Pit and Captain Falcon are as hard to find as Villager and Marth. Pit has been by far my most wanted from the start.

Where I live the eb games had the entire 2nd wave sitting in stock still because they only got them that day. I managed to grab a cap falcon

I've got some preordered, but I'm definitely going to have to check my local Meijer to see if they have any now. I'll probably pick up a Little Mac if I can find one, maybe a Diddy as well. Thanks for the heads up!

They got released in AUS today (12th)
p.s all of the Diddykong ones in JB-HI-FI had errors in their eyes (they pointed outwards) so watch out when you buy them

My had some Zeldas, but that was it as far as wave 2 figures go at this location. Good to know they're starting to roll them out though.
