Amiibo accidentally confirms Mr. Game & Watch?!

So I was looking at a picture for Amiibo released by Nintendo and saw Mr. Game & Watch using his Parachute in the bottom left side of the screen. This could mean two things, He's getting a new game or is included in Smash 4! What do you think?

It's been brought up a couple times already. Its not a confirmation for smash, especially since Amiibos aren't smash exclusive. That being said, I don't see why he wouldn't be in SSB4

His games could be coming to the Virtual Console. Though he does seem likely to be return, the amiibos don't necessarily mean anything.

Interestingly though, all of the characters shown are in the game in some way... (Well, except 8-bit Mario.)

Amiibos are supposed to be inherently cross-compatible with other games ('tis their purpose), so you might be on to something.

We saw him in the Pac-Man trailer which almost confirms him 100%. All we need now is pic of the day or a direct, but I personally think he'll be a secret character.

Simply being in both Melee and Brawl means he might as well be confirmed. He's also already been heavily teased in the Pac-man trailer. Being in that picture doesn't clearly prove that he's playable in Smash, but being in there certainly doesn't hurt his chances. (Just ask Lucina) All signs point to him being playable anyway, so don't worry too much about it and just wait to celebrate once his confirmation is official.
