always get alternate menu music?

I really like the Menu Music 2 and I always try to get it before I play

Is there any way to always start with Menu Music 2 without having to get it by luck at the title screen?

I actually don't think this is possible. Sound Test doesn't change it either.

You can get the alternate music for stages by holding a button as it loads. If it's possible, it's probably the same button (I don't remember which it is, unfortunately).

You can always just keep backing out of the main menu until the music comes on.

It's a trigger button for the alternate music I believe.

Yeah, I thought it was trigger as well... If it were A, the alternate music would always be played when you enter with Shiek.
