Alternate Costumes to be different models?

There is probably a topic like this, but according to search there isn't.
Alternate costumes have been announced to be more, "Flavorful" this time. Examples being Fusion Samus, Dark Link etc. So far many clones havent been confirmed yet. Is it possible that (For example) one of Fox's alt costumes is Falco? Or maybe Mario=Luigi, Pikachu=Raichu, Sonic=Shadow, etc. Is it possible, is it not? Speak up now.

well that does kinda disprove itself. Wario alone is special, Wario is the only one who will have two costumes in and of himself. That isn't to say that a different Character(Name, history, look), cant be a "costume change."

Wario is wario no matter what he wears, this is how he alone is special. But Someone like Lucas, might have a costume change to Ness(me being hopeful i know). But if it still said "Lucas Wins" at the end it would make no sense. They have to alter the name and the visual, but the characters attacks, stats, and playability would be identical(the ultimate form of cloning).

this be true.....plus luigi is taller and skinnier
raichu-Pikachu never evolved, assuming this is the pikachu ash gets(his red costume)
Sonic/shadow- i've seen this way too many times, shadow would be better as an AT, not an alternate costume
