Alloys from Riivolution alone?

Is it possible for me to play as the alloys or gigabowser using only riivolution? No codes from Brawl+ or any of that, just simply Riivolution. I don't think it would be possible, but I want to make sure

No, Riivolution only replaces files. You need a code to add them to your character selection screen.

On a 4.3 wii does Riivolution still take ocarina codes? I just found out you can use codes in riivolution haha

The version of the System Menu has no effect on what you can do with Riivolution, just if you can use it at all. So if Riivolution boots OK, ocarina codes should work. (Just make sure you have codehandler.bin as well as the appropriate XML code.)
