It's occured to me, if Sakurai wants 40 characters, All-Star's gunna be one long slog. It'd be about 25 matches long, wouldn't it?

Hopefully we won't see something like a fight against 25 Miis as the last level... ridiculous...

How so? It's not like All-Star by definition means "DEFEAT EVERYONE." It's more like an endurance challenge over anything.

I practice all day long on All-Star, it's my favorite mode. If its longer, it's better! Maybe they will allow you to choose the length, or it might change by difficulty.

Very Easy: 20 characters
Easy: 25
Normal: 30
Hard: 35
Very Hard: 40

Doesn't that sound logical?

I thought "All-Star" by definition was "All of the stars". I'm sure usually when something is given the title "All-Star", it's because there's a large collection of characters all participating in the same event... or whatever.

Yes? I never said it wouldn't contain a large collection of stars. I believe what I said was;

I could easily see them leaving certain (possibly clone) characters out.

I like the idea of the difficulty choosing how many characters you fight. I desperatley hope that there are at LEAST 40 characters because I always play elimination rounds with my friends. So much more fun

What do you mean by Elmination Round? =S

We're talking about 1player allstar mode.
