All evidence points to ROB defeating Ridley...attempt at a positive spin

Dont get me wrong. I'm still clinging to the glimmer of hope that the 35 character roster is fake. But with every new leak we get tonight, only the Captain Falcon one points to it not being real.

But look at these other two major things we know about the game: a Prima author who wrote the game said that Brawl was "Incredible, and more fun than you could ever imagine", and then today, we figure out Brawl needs 128 Wii save blocks.......WITHOUT extras (replays, creat-a-stage, etc).

This game is going to be MASSIVE. How can it be this massive with only 35 characters, which seems to be the most important part of any Smash game? Maybe the fact that we lost Ridley, Krystal, K. Rool, Megaman, and Geno points to us having a rediculously stand alone worthy Subspace Emissary. And hopefully some of the characters that didnt make the cut will be AT's.

Honestly, I am still hoping this roster proves fake. But I am at this point ready for ROB's confirmation. Just trying to put a positive spin on the nightmare roster that seems to be confirming itself tonight.

yeah, no PR person could put a spin on this to make it look good. Its just a little... sad.

I wish I had the optimism you have. If the 35 character roster proves true, I'll be heartbroken. I mean, it does mean we'll have a ginormous load of stuff to do once the game arrives, and the fact is I'll enjoy the game no matter what, but I'm really feel that the rumored 35 character roster is simply awful. Well, not the whole roster, but those last few spots. But you do make a good point, and I'm glad we'll have something else to look forward to if some of our most requested characters don't make the cut.

Because we're actually being realistic. More and more is coming around that is making the 35 character roster seem more and more likely.

the order on the character select screen for the rob roster is turning out to be the actual order. so far, only falcon has been in the wrong spot and he is only one spot over from where he was.

I hate to admit this, but it seems like Sakurai chose Wolf and ROB over Krystal and Ridley, threw a toon link in there, then decided not to add anybody else.

The good spin could still be the epic SSE however, if this roster does indeed hold true

yeah really....35 charcters? come on...cpn falcon, ganondorf, luigi, ness, marth. jiggs, and lucario (uim arguing its not lucario) have all been confirmed or highly supported with evidence and thats 7 right there on top iof the 23 we already have (not counting sheik/zamus) thats 30 right there. 5 more most likely being Shoe-ins like Wolf, ridley, k. rool, krystal and falco (marth made it, so can he) .

theres 35, but sakurai brags n brags about how much is in this game....do u think hed pass up adding chaaracters? i think not. i know hes got some surprises. if tekken can house 45+ fighters, so can smash

But you're ignoring everything else. You're going off what you like. And what you want.

But not the truth.

The only thing the evidence is pointing to in my eyes is that all the obvious characters have been revealed so far. Luigi, Falcon, and Gannondorf were definates. Ness, Marth and Jiggs less so but it wouldn't have been a suprise. All I see so far is that the obvious characters are being unlocked first. We haven't seen Wolf. We haven't seen R.O.B. We haven't seen Lucario (though we all know he's a definate). Heck we haven't even seen Falco yet. And we haven't seen any in-game confirmation that the hopefuls are A.T.s/bosses/etc.

All the evidence might be pointing towards the 35, but NONE of it confirms or deconfirms it yet.

cus thats what hope is....keeping a thought of soemthing in yur head so much that you use every way possible to make it seem in yur favor



and i hope that hes wrong :)

GUYS!

No Jigglypuff in the pics showing Ness, Captain Falcon and Marth right? Well that means Jigglypuff is harder to earn then those three.

That got me thinking. Remember that rumour saying Jiggs was earned by beating Target Test? Seems likely and so no one would have done it by now especially since they probably dived into SE.

That rumour also mentioned Ridley and Falco....

I hope I'm right.

Bah, I don't get it. Sakurai pours all his tender love into crafting the music, the stages, the Sub Space Emissary. Yet, despite all the work and perfection he puts into those... This is the roster it looks like we're stuck with, possibly forever? It... It doesn't make sense...

"Hey, Sakurai, this music is awesome! WOW! The Subspace Emissary is blowing me away!"
"Thank you, it was fun to make."
"By the way, the game's coming out in a couple weeks. What's the final roster look like?"
"...Roster?"
"Yeah, the characters, y'know."
"...Oh, snap, I knew I forgot something!"

If Ridley's a boss, I hope you have to fight him with ROB. That way, all you ROB haters will have to use ROB to beat the crap out of Ridley.
