I mean if Snake is able to be in it.. why not Albert Wesker, Leon Kennedy, Chris Redfield or other Resident Evil characters? It would be an awesome addition.

That is different, since the creator of Snake asked for his character to be in Melee, then Brawl...

So what makes this different? The creator of RE could've begged for his characters to be in Brawl just as much as Kojima did.

I mean, I support Megaman as anyone else, obviously, but this logic isn't very great when it comes to third party characters. We have no idea what to expect other than probably Sonic.

Balls. Wesker is the F'n A. But it will never happen, nor do I support it. Simply because it's third party, he's way too mature, Resident Evil isn't that popular, Capcom has more deserving representatives, and Jill Valentine or Leon Kennedy are betta.

It would be a step too far. Besides, they've toned down Snake's gun usage; they couldn't do that for a Resi character... especially since it would make them rather like a Snake clone.

Yeah, but I think that was because the two are close friends.... and Kojima gave him nookie in exchange for Snake's inclusion.
