Ok, I'm pretty sure I read this from a thread which must've died down. I apologize in advance if I shouldn't have like, revived this idea O_o

Anyway, going along with the whole, "more focus on aerial play", I think this idea could really work out. Neutral air attacks would stay the same with no smash variant of them. But every other attack, would be able to tilt, or smash. One idea that always runs through my head when I think about is this. Captain Falcon. His tilt could be anything from a kick to a weaker, non-killer, but uber fast knee. But then his smash fair would be the killer knee. Another idea which definantly would need fine tuning would be dairs. I was thinking, tilt down being able to be cancelled, while the smash down would take a bit longer to get out, but be impossible to escape.

Thoughts, comments, flames?

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. It might get tricky to do smashes in the air, but the c-stick would definantly make it much simpler.

Yeah, I stated this idea a while back. It'd be hard to pull off, but it'd definitely be pretty interesting. I would count on them doing something more in the air, because it certainly seems that Brawl is going to be more aerial based this time.

I mentioned aerial smashes a long time ago. It is a possibility. And my evidence of it actually being brought into brawl was that Zamus in one of the trailers is in the air and she uncharacteristically zips to the floor. I'm not sure if that's the new fast fall animations or the down aerial smash of Zamus. But she does it.

hehe that could be interesting - imagine if the c-stick does all the strong moves and you could do tilts as an alternative

though i DO have a gripe with this - and that is pulling some aerials or moves is ALREADY hard enough without the c-stick. adding more moves would make it just.. REALLY hard lol.

you would have ALOT of trouble DI'ing one way and attacking the other, and doing things like sh'ed uairs. <or sh'ed utilts lol>

who knows lol - maybe they could make the c-stick tilts and people would have to learn to z-charge for smashes or something? lol
