air flame choking into brinstars lava

I posted this like a week ago on the stage discussion boards but nobody seemed to care so I'm taking a shot here.

first of all: this is not completely tested. me and a friend have simply done it on a snake and a zero suit samus and the victims have not tried every option out of it. I am not claiming I found this first and I do not know if this is known.

basically if you use the flame choke in the air on an aerial opponent and you fall into the lava (when it's there, of course) ganondorf bounces back up and takes fire damage and the victim keeps falling taking no damage as if the lava wasn't there and just dies when they've gone off-screen.

I'll work more with this stage, but it is quite hard to do, especially because it is hard to tell where the ledges are if you happen to miss. Thanks for bringing this up though, I think this is a decent counterpick stage for Gdorf

but...but...Brinstar is an AWFULL stage for Ganondorf! You're screwed by the edges. You're screwed by the unevenness of the main platform, You're screwed by the "tendons" adding extra time to your already slow attacks, AND You're screwed by the hole in the center. Brinstar bends Ganon over. If you want a stage where you can lava gimp, just pick Norfair.

grumble whatevs. lol I just played there more and you're right. norfair still has annoying ledges on the bottom platform tho

Yeah... this is old, but it is still a nice trick to do on stages with lava. However, your opponent can still recover even though they are submerged within the lava.

NOfair is horrible with ganon.. even though this does work when their percentage is high enough
