Well, my history with smash extends back to Christmas 2001, opening melee, and playing casually on-and-off since then. As of this previous weekend, I've been fully infected with the itch to Smash, due to my cousin [704] taking me to my first weekly tournament in Roanoke, VA. The friendly atmosphere was naturally enjoyable, but what enticed me more was the realization of how well I could play this game if I really put some time into it. I've always had fun playing, but I'm excited about attempting to take it to a higher level.

I have strength in a sharp intuition, but I have virtually no advanced tech skill, so I hope joining this community will help facilitate that growth. Even more importantly, people that play this game tend to be friendly and open to discussion, always pushing themselves. Making new friends is always a good idea!

• Samus is a straight-up badass. She's my main throughout most iterations of the game.
• Yoshi is a slippery beast in Sm4sh.
• Captain Falcon is a character with unpredictable aspects that I'm looking to take up.
• Kirby deserves more credit, and I want to put in work playing him when the situation fits. (What?)
• Shinobi Squirtle in Project M is the greatest thing of all time.

Anyway, nice to meet y'all; hope I'll see you on either side of the training field or battlefield.
