Hey guys I wanted to know your tips on being able to participate in several locals and tournaments
and how you guys save up for venue fees/registration fees.
Going to weeklies for the whole month end up being about 40$ D: plus others.
Traveling is not the problem paying for tournaments for me is.

Getting a job would help. Win some easy little locals, host tournaments with casuals and win lol. Some tournaments waive fee if you bring a setup so that helps.

How much do locals cost near you? Any financial pace that destroys your means of continuing is not worth continuing, and more likely to lead to a burnout. Don't feel obligated to enter every single event in the region if there are a few that are overpriced and others that are more 'bang for your buck'. Prioritize the best few each month. You could also pay the venue fee and play with others while not entering if the series/venue allows it.

When starting off you need as many friendlies as possible, not as many tournament sets as possible. Ideally you'll attend more fests than tournaments each month. Another alternative if you crave the seriousness of a tournament set is to do 4-5 small stakes money matches instead of one tournament entry. That way you can get more sets in for the same cost.

Yea, Locals usually go for $8-12 in my area. Venue fees always seem to be $5. Also I do have a job just financially I don't think this will workout cause it would lead to a burnout plus college. This is why I prefer online tournaments for practice.

I'll stick to the monthly Regionals and money matching. Mostly I will start to look for friendies.
Thanks for the tips
