Advanced Wars characters?

I'm just wondering that the possibilities could be for an Advanced Wars character to pop in. I mean, being able to control Grit would be kinda cool >.>

Much as I love the Advance Wars series to death, I doubt that there will be a representative from the series as a playable character. Appearing as AT's however is very possible.

You're in luck mate. Advance Wars DS 2 was announced at E3.

I had an idea similar to this quite recently and frankly the potential is there for a great moveset. Another similar series that could have a representative would be Batallion Wars.

The only ones with a chance as playable characters are Andy and Sami, though I've heard some say that Jake (the "I wish I was as cool as Andy" CO) had a chance too.)

I am expecting to see Andy...and his wrench!

Sadly it seems advance wars characters will be AT at best.

Throw an AT.. they pop up and then run off screen and a barrage of artillery comes in (Depending on the strength of the character from the game) I can see it now... Seeing it obliterate that destructible stage (too lazy to look for the name of it)

Oh the possibilities.. hopefully one day I can experience the development of games first hand..

He's got the best chance. The rest probably be assists, or maybe the whole franchise would end up being assists.

If there can be Fire Emblem characters, then why not an Advance Wars character? It would be cool to play as Andy.
