Smash Lord
This is a place where we can come up with ways the game could introduce "Advanced techs." But, not just like so, but in ways that make it look natural.
For example, Wavelanding on platforms is great for maintaining pressure on opponents and also allows previously impossible options, like grabbing, possible.
However, wavelanding, along with the majority of other advanced techs, look unnatural in nature.
This thread serves as a hub of ideas that we can use to make these previous techs look natural and even possible if any of those secret Ninty reps are reading through our forums.
When we look at the intention of wavelanding on platforms, we need a button input option that allows characters under platforms climb up them with relative ease and speed. Potentially, if you're under a platform, you can input Up+L, performed like a Smash attack to have a character grab under a platform, with hand clipping through, and climbing up into the platform itself.
Remember, this is pure conjecture and light hearted ideas. This thread should be fun for all of us here.
What kind of techs would you like to see naturalized?
