Well, It seems that a new Advance Wars game just come out.. I don't know how i didn't notice, since the game seems pretty interesting. one fun fact is that every CO of the others game have been replaced, no known faces, althought the design of the new ones is pretty good. (you know, post apocalyptic issues)
I know that it's a bit late to post this, cause the game is already done, but who knows, if Roy got a spot in melee, this guys can still be in the game .. somehow i open this poll to see, if AW would get a PC, who would you want it to be???
first i will start with the Three First Generation "protagonist" of the game and the other protagonist.. Jake
ANDY:
IMO: it's supposed to be the protagonist of the 2 first games but i not very fond of him, in fact i find it a little boring and isn't one of the best COs neither. I bet that the only reason that some people actually wants him it's because they think that is the only character that deserve to be in from the advance wars franchise and they want some AW representation.. i gues..
MAX:
IMO: this is a more specializaed CO in the game, which it means that is a bit more popular, but.. we already have DK... we don't need two gorillas in the game (J.K.)
SAMI:
IMO:the godess of AW, one of the best COs together with Eagle and Grit IMHO. the way she can capture buildings in one turn can really turn the tides of battle, also , don't have special weakness, so you can build almost anything else to support your troops. Also have a good character design, Brawl needs more females AND since she is the infantry specialist, she have some ingame moves that can be easly translated to brawl, the only con is that maybe she couldn't get her machine gun by the same reasons Snake can't have his SOCOM...
JAKE:
IMO: I don't see why this CO should be more deserving than Will or Andy... but i will post it anyway, not the big deal, I still think that the older characters stealth a lot of his posible fame in the game... also, since the world Gone BOOM! i guess no sequels for this Char...

"Game storyline: Advance Wars: Days of Ruin features a new group of COs and supporting characters, as well as a new setting. After a terrible asteroid strike that leaves few survivors, the world is in chaos. Toxic dust clouds are choking out the food supply. New diseases strike without warning. Terror runs rampant as people do whatever is necessary for their own survival. Against this background, one small band fights to restore human dignity in a world gone mad, but the mission seems impossible. Their own country is being led by a dictator. Their former enemy thinks only of revenge. And behind the scenes, a scientist with unbelievable power dreams of eliminating the human race once and for all."
WILL:
IMO: Take your ANDY Concept and work him a lot more, yep, he is the juvenile face of the protagonist of the latest game... not a character that i wouldn't want to see get the spot in Brawl, but is not my favorite neither.
BRENNER:
IMO: Again, take MAX concept of the thought guy in the group, and give him a gentle nature, same as Will, I wouldn't Mind seeing him in, but not MY choice. Also, a lot less chances that Will.
LIN:
IMO: Nope, she isn't Lady Lyndis, BUt still seems like a good Character. She represent the femenine side of the group (A.K.A. Sami replacement) and again Brawl would benefit from some Female faces. If by that strange things of life Sami didn't get the spot, i wouldn't be so dissapointed if i saw Lin instead (maybe it's part of my AT LYN trauma... don't know :S)
ISABELLA:
IMO: Just your misteryous amnesic girl (Which it happens to look like certain dragon lady in FE 6) it apeears in the story that there is some kind of Virus, since there is some like three or four Child COs With that Hair Color and that pendant which maybe is some kind of antidote... don't know, still i haven't played the game... Cute, Indeed, but don't know how high are her chances to be in Brawl, or her importance in the game, maybe is some kind of Micaiah, who knows?.
Who you want??? (I have listed the more possible choices, everyone wants Grit.. but we Know that is impossible...)
As I've said The Cut have already been done, and we have to wait until the game is out to know who of them will make the cut and who wouldn't, but for now, let's have some poll, and discuss!
PD althought i Love Sami For Brawl, I like the new turn that the series made, so i thin that a new Character wouldn't be so bad...
2PD: i just discovered that the "Wars" franchise started in 1988 and have had 6 games only released in japan, Famitsu wars, Super Famitsu Wars, Game boy Wars I, II, III and Game boy Wars II TURBO. making a total of 12 games out and 20 years of history... which means that this series Needs At least ONE rep! (maybe two, who knows?)
3PD: I still say Sami as the first REP and maybe someone of the new crew for the second... plus some AT's
