Adding Spear Pillar as a Custom Stage?

I've added a stage expansion to my Project M and I've added every stage i wanted except for spear pillar. It was one of my favorite stages in Brawl, so i found a "Project M Alternative Spear Pillar" mod to use. Every time i add it though it causes the game to freeze when i select it. Can anyone help me fix this? Or explain how to add this particular file as a custom Stage?

I did indeed. Trust me ive done this 40 times. haha. I tried the custom rel the pack came with as well as a spear pillar rel from my expansion pack.

I can only thing to suggest using this: lakora.us/rel/

Convert Spear Pillar into STGCUSTOM and it should work. Rel files can't just be renamed without fixing the file. You might also want to use Brawl Stage Manager to verify that your modules are correct. lakora.us/brawl/stagemanager/
