Adding Records for CECs?

First of all, I wasn't sure whether to put this in Bug Reoprting, Help and Support, or General, so I figured that here was the safest pick. On with the post!

I'm the kind of guy who likes to keep track of my records. I'm pretty obsessive over it, and probably look at the Group Records once a week. Now, prior to 3.0, I'd already had some issues with it. First of all, Pokemon Trainer's Pokemon weren't split up, and I'm still not sure where those numbers for the Pokemon Trainer come from (adding the three together?). However, since I don't play them as often, it never bothered me enough to post about it, considering how trivial a detail it is.

I imagine that if you've read this far, you already know what my issue is: Roy and Mewtwo are not accounted for in Records. Considering that I plan to play a good bit of both of them (especially Mewtwo), this is bugging me. Now how am I supposed to satisfy my OCD?

I understand that there are much bigger priorites for the team, and I'm not sure how easy this would be implement, but I would very much appreciate it if they could add a Records page for CECs in future updates. Thank you.

Also, how do Pokemon Trainer's stats work?

I too am curious whether or not it is possible to include new characters in the Smash Records.

Dantarion would know more about this but basically, it's safer to have their records saving to Marth's/Lucario's (their respective "parent" character) records than trying to create their own because of save corruption issues.

In other words, I wouldn't be too hopeful for it -- the current implementation keeps save data safe.

Yes, the three pokemon from PT all contribute to the PT stat in the records. Yes, Roy's saves to Marth's and Mewtwo's saves to Lucario. The only way around this is if Project M was to implement an alternate battle records save file on the SD card or something that intercepts the save data / has the data load from there to the Records page instead.

I have NO idea how complicated it would be to implement that, though.


EDIT: You could just make a character specific tag for Mewtwo and Roy. That you use only when you play as those characters. Cause you can look up records associated with tags.
