adding custom music lowers sound quality?

i noticed then after i added a couple of songs, the sound quality of pm is pretty bad. it's probably not the filesize, as i build a pm iso, which has given me no trouble.

define 'sound quality'. If you're referring to the actual audio of the songs you've added, then it's most likely a problem with the song itself. Just boost the volume.

by sound quality, i mean the quality of the entire game. it only happens during a fight, or maybe i do not notice it outside of one.

everything sounds a little...bad. hits, shield breaks, everything.

edit: how do i boost volume? i have brawl song editor.

open a raw audio file in any audio editing software (Goldwave, audacity, etc) and amplify the sound. Then reconvert to a BRSTM.

oh. well, i dont really find that this deserves downloading another thing, so i will suffer.

also, song editor is being stupid. so i load the song list, but whenever i select a song, it gives me an error.
