Adding Costumes Question

Hi! So, I've been modding PM for a while now (I know how to add costumes, stages, and music, along with some texture replacements), but one thing that I don't like is how I have to replace costumes in order to add new ones. So, how can I add alt. costumes instead of replacing them? If you link me to a tutorial, or just tell me here, either are good. I would just really like to know.

You probably want the Cbliss tool. it allows you to expand each characters outfits one by one. Just grab the codeset, copy it into the Cbliss tool folder, and make sure to use that codeset when you're done. Don't forget to import the new CSPs, BPs, and Stock icons. and i mean all 4 sections where the Stock icons are located (info.pac, scselchar...pac, StockFaceTex.pac, and STGRESULT.pac)

I don't get how to use it... once I hit update GCT then can I add another .pac and .pcs? and then where do I add the CSPs and stuff? Is there a new slot for them in the files?

Forgive me for I am not fantastic with blogs and making them look clean. anyway, I've uploaded gameconfig.txt, you're going to need to download that or Project M won't even boot. The reason is that with the Cbliss Tool's expands your codeset and when the PM launcher tries to launch with the codes, it resets because for whatever reason it can't read all of the codes. The gameconfig.txt allows the PM launcher to read the rest of the codes. When you hit update GCT, every character will be expanded to 10 alts... kinda. The cbliss tool doesn't edit your files at all so you'll have to manually import the new CSPs, BPs, and Stock Icons with Brawl Box. They have the locations for all that stuff here. To import the new textures, Right click the root of the character's folder and go to Import > Texture. for CSPs, make sure you change the format to CMPR. for BPs, I just copy and past the file, and just rename the new file to whatever I need it to be. (InfFace009 -> InfFace009 - Copy -> Inface010). For Stock Icons, you go the root of the folder you find those icons in, and then right click to import. Those need to be in CI4 format.

Could use that gameconfig.txt if I expanded the amount of alts to 14? and also, what if I don't use all of the alt. spots?

I believe you the gameconfig file will still work. If you don't use the alt spots, check boxes next to the characters you aren't expanding in the cBliss tool, click edit, and Change "Number of Costumes" to however many costumes that character has. Unfortunately you'll have to do that with every character that isn't going to have 10. And it's sorta time consuming. On the bright side, you can take any character and give them any number of outfits you want.

I'm trying to add a costume to Ike, and I'm a bit confused. When I add the CSP, do I have to rename the icon? It is after MenSelchrFaceB.340, so would I have to rename the new CSP the same thing but with .341? What is confusing me is that the next character, ROB, already has MenSelchrFaceB.341 , so what do I do?

While it is technically possible to do, Ike will have to share Stock icons and Battle portraits with ROB. He gets to have his own CSPs tho. You just gotta import his portrait into his specific files and name it MenSelchrFaceB.341 anyway.

Is there a way around sharing BPs and stock icons? or would I have to code a bunch?
The only thing I could think of is that you would have to do a bunch of coding. I don't know of any codes or tools that could help with that. I heard theres a guy working on letting every character have 20 costumes but That's all I know
