Adding Characters to PM 3.5?

I don't want to replace any characters from Project M, but I want to try adding all the cool new characters from BrawlVault. Is there a way that I can add them to the roster?(Like the character select screen) I'm a noob to Wii modding so don't judge :D

Not yet, but Project M DIY should be updating soon. You need to learn how to use BrawlEx, you can find some good tutorials on youtube, but they can be a little hard to understand if you have never replaced costumes, images, etc in brawl before. The hardest part is editing the sound effects, though.

I knew someone by the name @PyotrLuzhin who could use the default PM clone engine (that code-wise, is vastly different from PM) but he's been inactive for awhile. Try contacting him after the school year is over (june) since he may still be busy with college and stuff. But for now, PM DIY is the best alternative out there... (Though if you want to add Ridley, his sounds don't quite work yet from what I hear)
