Adding brstm files to Project M, sounds garbled and distored

Hey guys, long time lurker.. I've done a fair amount of googling and searching and haven't been able to find any answers.

I've got Project M 3.02 booted up, and I'm trying to add some custom music to Shadow Moses.

I've downloaded 2 BRSTM files from http://www.brawlcustommusic.com

- Named them appropriately and added them to the correct directories:
SD:\projectm\pf\sound\strm\S05.brstm
and
SD:\projectm\pf\sound\strm\S10.brstm

- Both are different songs, and both end up sounding incomprehensible and distorted when I play the songs on the My Music section.

- I've previewed both songs in Brawl Song Manager, and they seem to work fine there.

- The distorted song I'm hearing sounds more like the default song rather than the ones I'm trying to import.

Does anyone know what I could be doing wrong?

2 solutions:
1.) Defragment the SD card.
2.) Take all of the files off of the card at the same time (everything), and then drag them back on at the same time.
BRSTMs garble when your sd card is getting lower on space and you transfer files a lot.

Argh.

Just backed up everything from my SD card to my desktop, formatted it, and moved everything back over. Still no luck. :/

The songs that are playing in "My Music" on Brawl just seem to be very sped up versions of the original song, with lots of static.

I'm having the same problem, where moving all the files off of the SD card and reformatting the SD card is not doing anything. Know any other methods of getting around this?
