Add a shield to other characters?

I want to add a shield like link´s shield to ike, but i dont know how, any help will be useful.

I don't think that's possiblee. Unless hacking has progressed dramatically recently, giving Ike Link's shield is impossible (now if you editted an external graphic and attached it to his hand, it would look like he has a shield...).
