Adapter Shortage?

I'm not sure if this is just a Philly thing, but I've stopped at about 14 different stores in search of a GC adapter and none of them have had a single one in stock. I have a feeling that the only adapters that have been sold in my area are the ones in the bundle. Can somebody confirm to me that there is/isn't a shortage of GC adapters?

I feel really stupid posting this because I know it's my fault for not reserving the bundle.

The adapter is basically sold out world wide (apart from a few scalpers trying to flip them for over $100 profit).

yeah i got mine with the bundle ,and there are tons of scalper thats why i bought the wired fight pad for precaution
