Activating Debug Mode with a Wii Remote and Nunchuk Set-Up

Well, I have a WiiU (which has no GC controller ports) and my old Wii doesn't work, so unfortunately I am stuck playing Project M with the Wii Remote and Nunchuk set-up. :/

I have seen the new debug mode and I am aware of how to activate the mode using the Gamecube controller, but has anybody by any chance figured out how to activate debug mode using the Wii Remote and Nunchuk? I have looked all over for the answer but apparently PMDT has not released that information yet. Has anybody figured out the debug mode activation method on their own for Wii Remote and Nunchuk?

I think it's only possible with a GC controller=(...
I've tested it and i can't get debug to activate using any other controller, and i have access to all the possible ones...
Hopefully they'll fix that in the next update... there may be a bugfix update around the corner...
