Acquiring UCF on 20XX on dolphin?

I tried to get UCF on 20XX, and I saw online that you just copy/paste the gecko code for UCF onto the gecko codes for 20XX, but when I click "show defaults" in the gecko code menu and it brings me to the list of gecko codes in a notepad file entitled "GALE01r2", if I make any changes to it, for some reason it doesn't let me just save the changes to that file it prompts me to make an entire new file, and when I do, when I go back to the gecko codes list its still the old file and not the new one I made. So I am sort of lost on how to do this. Please help! I'm on Dolphin, not Slippi, just to be clear.
