Hi everyone. I was in the "Most embarresing thing you've done at school thread" and I noticed that some embaressing moments are injuries, accidents, or painful experiences.

I made this thread , dedicated to such incidents. NOT embarresing moments.

For instance: I fell off mike bike and landed on my face.

Like that,, only with alot more detail. Please, post a complete story, events that lead to it, extra things that happened because of the accident ex. Please, by all means, NO ONE LINE STORIES! This thread will be much more interesting without them.

I may post one of mine after toa few. I honestly heve never been seriously injured.
Never been in a car accident, never got stiches or any broken bones. If I see that everyone in this thread has something awesome, I won't post mine. But anyway, let the painful stories begin!

(10 Bukcs jammer will be the first to post here.)

Probably out eating some dirt or something.
My sister cut my arm open with a knife when she was 2, I was 4 at the time.

I got my tonsils removed at age 4, ow that hurt for a while.

Golf club to the eye from a careless guy, luckily it only cut my eyelid open and didn't distort my eye shape.

At a Wal-Mart district management and family party, all the little kids were playing pinata. It was raining, my dad had me supervising it, a kid then lost control of the metal pole that the district manager gave her, it ricochets off a picnic table and the end of it hit my throat, it broke the skin and I couldn't breath enough to cry like I wanted to (this was last year I think) and now I have a scar in a perfect circle on my throat.

in grade 7 i was working on my dad's porch for our backyard, and nailgunned my hand to some wood. my bad. theres still a crimson red blotch, i dont belive we ever got that out.
anyways my first words were "....****" followed by screaming and panic. that was twice as bad as stapling my finger. that was grade 5, in class. the girls screamed, I was satisfied.

oh wait! edit! once i superglued my fingers together , thought i could pull it appart and ended up taking off about 5 layers of skin. did you know they have finger casts?

2 painful stories:

In 7th grade, I had a HORRIBLE PE teacher. He made EVERYONE do something and I hated basketball so he said "Find something to do or you fail". He went off and played basketball with other kids. So me and a few kids were jumping barrels (he set it up). A few kids went, then it was my turn, 4 barrels. I ran, stopped, and gave my glasses to a friend, then I ran and jumped. I hit the ground and realized, I couldn't move. I NEEDED water or something. Walking to get water was SO painful. I come back and sit on two chairs with my leg propped up trying not to cry. In the middle of class he asks why I am not doing anything (He yelled at me for not doing anything at first) and I said my foot hurt and I think it was sprained. He looked at it and said if it was broken, I would cry when he does this and bent the toe to a right angle. I think I almost blacked out. At the end of class he said to walk to the office. Every step felt immensely painful, until I blacked out from the pain. As we were leaving my mom and the teacher helped me to the car when the teacher let go for a bit, I feel forward and caught myself on my broken foot. Quite painful. This was one of MANY thing that the PE teacher did including yelling at a kid for "being a moron" and making us look in the grass for a snake that one of the students lost (it was his).

The other odd one was I was getting my wisdom tooth removed (only one) and I am terrified of needles so they gave me laughing gas and IV. I was under the gas for a while when they put the needle in my arm. It was in for 5-10 minutes when they asked if I was ok and I said fine. The switched arms and I was out. I woke up during the surgery to hear the crushing of the tooth then went back out. Afterwards they took the needle out and had me rest while she got a wheelchair. I dropped my hat and stood up to pick it up, stretched and I was fine. The nurse asked how I was ok (the guy before me collasped from the medication). Immunity to anesthesia - I haven't have a BAD cavity story.

I don't know what my problem is, but the stuff that numbs my face just doesn't work sometimes. One time, I had around 7 shots, and could still feel the drill digging into my teeth. They sent me home, told me to come back tomorrow.

Another time, I had lost count as to how many shots I'd had, but since I was getting braces the next day, they continued working anyway.

It wasn't the worst pain I'd ever felt in my life, but it was pretty high up there-- and the fact that I just had to sit there, clutching the armrests, hoping I don't jerk my head to avoid ruining my other teeth, and crying was seriously the most torturous moment of my life. It was no longer than a year ago.

Ouch, those were some good ones...I haven't had anything bad happen to me since I was about nine.

The last bad thing I can remember was when I was 10 at my freind's birthday party. We were playing day manhunt. There was a small slope that went around his house. There was a sharp pipe sticking out of the ground there. It was thin and only came out of the ground about 8 inches. I hid behind a rock next to the path. Someone on the other team came by. I just out, tripped, and before I knew it, I was trying to move up the hill with the pipe digging into my leg. It left a gash about 3 inches long. I ran inside and it started bleeding like crazy. His mom put on some medical tape and it was okay then.

It wasn't that bad really, it just sounds bad. I beleive I still have a small scar on my leg from it though.

I got kicked in the crotch. Period.

In case you need more pain situations, once like 6 years ago i was jumping on the sofa in my house, untill i fell and broke my arm, at first there was no pain, unless i tryed to move my arm, then it came and it was.... bad.

Also when i was like 3 years old(my dad told me, my memory wouldnt let me remmeber what happened 3 days ago) i fell of a metal shaft and cut my chin in a perfect line from one side to the other of almost all the jaw, nowadays i have a small scar. Actually my dad told me they called an ambulance, they 'fixed' me and that i didnt even cry for the whole time, yet i was covered in blood :s

EDIT: i guess my stories arent nearly as painful as other's, so I consider myself lucky.

A few years ago, I broke my arm and then I had a full arm cast put on. One day my arm got so itchy that I got a pen and started scratching it. Just my luck, the pen cap came off and was stuck there for about a month and a half (when I got the cast off.) When I saw my arm, I had a gash on my arm from the cap digging into my skin! I can take a quick pic if you wanna see the scar.

One day when i was little me and my parents decided to go for a walk. For some reason i really enjoyed dragging around this wagon that i had. There would be nothing in it... i just liked bringing it around. Of course when your 5 years old you like to run. I started to run as fast as i could (i think i was racing my dad home or something) then all of the sudden my foot gets caught under the wagon. Then i proceed to fall over scraping every bit of finger nail off of my hand... aaaaand thats all of the story my parents told me about "the time i got all of my finger nails scrapped off".

Dang, I'm faint of heart these stories make me feel funny >.>

Anyway, when I was around 7 I was playing around with some friends. We were basically play fighting but during the fun I fell back and hit my head on the head of a nail, which made a gash in my head and I bled a lot.

I remember crying a little but the pain wasn't that intense and after it healed it left a lump on the back of my head, almost right in the center.

When I get my hair cut people normally ask me what it is and I just say it's my on/off button =/

****, I'm tired and I feel like I'm writing like a 6 year old making a story ...

my most painful experience that i can remember was when i was hooping outside. i was trying to dunk the ball and came down hard on my chin. needless to say there was a nice hole in my chin for a while.

blowtoes returns.

i ran into a stop sign once. it wouldnt have been so bad if it was on the flat side, but it wasnt. It also wouldnt have been so bad if i wasnt on a bike, but i was. please dont ask as to how this happened, because all i remember is waking up in my living room. it happened a long time ago, and i didnt really remember it until this very morbid thread reminded me. ;)

once i slammed my finger inside my moms car door while leaving it to go to a docter's appointment. that was lucky, cuz my fingernail flew right off. not my most painful story, but one of my favorites considering i slammed it in the same car door on the way home.
we sold the car.

My sister once stabbed my forehead with a pencil (when i was like 8 and she was like 7).
When she pulled it out, there was still a little lead sticking out of me.
If you look close enough, you can see a little mark on on the middle of my forehead.

****, all of these other stories are painful just to read.

Heh...sorry, I just saw this thread. And my painful stories really aren't that exciting.

I've been horrible mangled and severely injured before, but it was so long ago that I don't remember anything.

When I was 2 or 3, I smashed my jaw on a table. I'm told it broke into 5 or 6 pieces, along with some damage to my teeth. I don't remember it. I guess that's good. You can't notice by looking at me, but if you feel my chin, you'll feel a few odd bumps where the bones fused back together.

There are other horrible things that happened to me when I was too young to remember. I was extremely accident-prone.

I broke my finger playing football a couple years ago. Wooo. We were drawing in art class, and I managed to be "Artist of the Month" with a picture I drew with my right hand (I'm left-handed).

Oohh! I remember a good one! I burned myself with acid (actually, it was a base, but it was like an acid burn). Someone had put industrial strength cleaner in a soap dispenser. When you add water, you get "OUCH!"

Man, that killed. You could see my arm bone in one place. I had to wear a bandage around my arm for a month, and my classmates (first graders, I believe) ostracized me for being "diseased." Surprisingly, I only have a little, hardly noticeable scar. I don't know how that's even possible.

I'm getting about $6,000 in installments for that, starting when I'm 18.
