About to go to my first tournament, good doubles comp?

What I play: IC's, Falco, Luigi
What my doubles partner plays: Jiggs, CFalcon,

What do you guys think the best team comp between these two sets would be? Also any last minute tips on doubles strategies?

Both of your partners chars are very good doubles characters. Jiggs is prolly the better of the 2 because it's arguable that she is the 2nd best teams character behind fux. As for you, play whoever youre the most comfortable with i guess. Falco is probably the worst of your characters for teams because lafco is really hard to do well with in teams. Flaco's lazer is significantly worse in teams because it is very likely you will **** with your teammate if you are spamming SHL. If i had to tell you one character to play between ics and luigi id say luigi because he wont get gimped on his recovery as much as he would in a 1v1. When youre playing teams its harder to mess with someone off stage when your teammate is still on stage giving your opponent(s) a hard time. So considering luigi's recovery is sub par, it is nice that his recovery is relatively less bad in teams compared to his recovery in one v ones. I guess that's all i got for now.

I would say that you should either play luigi in teams, or pick up fox and team with your buddies puff.

fox/puff is arguably the best comp in the game.

also, if u don't want to play IC's in teams, play them super patiently, they are basically just to cover your partner with, and they have the kill moves. Although with your buds character selections, you can't really sit in the back much, unless he is playing falcon.

you can go falco/jiggs, timi + me were pretty succesfull with it it gets a lot of quick kills, though fox/puff is better or even falco/fox imo

Falco Puff is probably your best. Laser can reset and set up for rests, puff can save falco
