About running grabs

It's had me curious since shielding and shield grabbing come out instantly if there are any characters that benefit from first doing a running shield then immediately shield grabbing to either get the grab out faster or have less vulnerable frames after a whiffed grab

I have never used this as a substitute for Dash Grabs, but it's definitely useful if you run up shield and then react to what your opponent is doing and perhaps grabbing. The problem with substituting Dash Grabs with this is that you're sacrificing some range and momentum, which means that you have to get closer before you can start your grab. Also you have to wait for the shield to come out before you can grab. But obviously it's a little less punishable due to less endlag.

Depends on the character. Some characters have way better dash grabs than standing (Zamus, Captain Falcon, and Greninja springing immediately to mind). Other characters may want to use that to get a safer grab (that also won't necessarily lose to an attack, due to the shield), and in both cases it can be useful for spacing.
